Friends,
During times of economic uncertainty, it’s easy to focus inward—tightening budgets, postponing plans, and protecting what we have. But I believe it’s in these very moments that the true heart of our supporters shines brightest. Compassion doesn’t depend on comfort. In fact, when the world feels most unsettled, people often rise with greater generosity, empathy, and action.
Currently, Global Care Force sends a team of volunteers to Ukraine each month, which provides 300+ people with life-saving care. But the need is much greater, so we’re working toward doubling the number of teams sent each month. At each clinic, volunteers see new patients who have heard about our returning clinics through word of mouth. The need continues to grow as word spreads. War has disrupted access to even the most basic medical care. Simple medication we take for granted, such as pain relievers like Tylenol and Ibuprofen, are out of reach for these patients, who are extremely grateful when they are given a month’s supply for free.
Our dedicated volunteers bring more than medications and medical supplies—they bring hope, support, and dignity to Ukrainians whose lives have been upended by violence and loss.
But Ukraine is not our only call. In Jordan and Egypt, displaced families, which includes more than 1 million refugees, are enduring unimaginable hardship. They’ve fled war, persecution, and extreme poverty, only to face overwhelming barriers to basic healthcare. Our clinics offer free medical care and a powerful reminder that they are not forgotten. If you’ve ever considered volunteering, now is the time! We have a spot waiting for you on our Mobile Medical Teams.
Our global neighbors need healing. Together, we are proving that even in uncertain times, compassion never falters and love never stops showing up. We simply cannot do this without you.
With gratitude,
