Help Others While Discovering Jordan

Can we count on you to help meet Jordan’s urgent humanitarian needs?

Known for its hospitality and kindness, Jordan is a haven for over 1 million refugees from Syria, Palestine, and other countries, creating a strain on the country’s economy and resources. According to the World Bank, nearly 40% of people in Jordan, about 4 million, live below the poverty line.

Basic medical care is lacking in the locations we’ve curated for volunteers to serve. Medications are scarce, and even when available, they are often unaffordable. Global Care Force believes everyone deserves access to essential healthcare regardless of where they live. Our volunteers provide continuity of care to those in need, with respect for different cultures and faiths.

Our Primary Care Team will serve the local community and refugees who desperately need medical care in three separate clinics during an eight-day mission, potentially providing life-saving care to nearly 1,000 people.

Here is where YOU come in. Global Care Force is building our Jordan Primary Care Teams for 2025.  

We are now accepting volunteer applications for this meaningful experience for deployments in 2025.

As a member of our Jordan Primary Care Team, you will provide free consultations and medications to those with little to no access to medical care or who cannot afford healthcare. Both acute and chronic health care needs remain unmet. For this very reason, Global Care Force expects to create continuity of care in the selected locations in Jordan. We expect our new and returning volunteers who make up our Primary Care Teams will return in eight weeks to the same locations, filling a critical gap in the healthcare of these vulnerable populations.

Assigned a personal interpreter and a private hotel room, you will also have one day for cultural immersion and sightseeing during this deployment. Of course, you always have the option to arrive earlier or stay later on your own to explore Jordan’s spectacular historical sites and stunning landscapes like Petra, also known as the Rose City due to the coloring of the stone, and one of the new seven wonders of the world.
