Friends,
Every week brings new developments in the war in Ukraine. While cease-fire talks are on and off again, Global Care Force will not cease sending monthly volunteers to Ukraine – quite the opposite. We aim to double the number of Mobile Medical Teams we send monthly to Ukraine.
The war has placed immense pressure on Ukraine’s primary care system. Widespread destruction of medical facilities, particularly in active combat zones, has left millions without access to essential medical care. Rebuilding the healthcare infrastructure will take years. Since January, our volunteers have provided medical care and free medications to 1,100 patients in 21 communities. But that’s just a fraction of the need. With your support, we can reach dozens more communities without primary care. We urgently need doctors, nurses, NPs, PAs, EMTs and other volunteers to register today to volunteer.
Ukraine is just one of many locations where war has devasted healthcare systems. Since the start of the Israel-Hamas War, Global Care Force has been working to safely send medical volunteers to Gaza, Israel, and the West Bank. With teams already serving in Egypt and Jordan, we stand ready to deploy to Gaza when conditions allow. As conflicts across the Middle East continue to disrupt hundreds of thousands of lives, the need for medical volunteers is greater than ever.
None of this is possible without you, our Global Care Force community. I urge you to take action today and give a gift to the greatest need, or become a monthly donor and help save lives!
With gratitude,
