Thousands of people from around the world attended the Global Missions Health Conference in Louisville, KY, earlier this month—including Global Care Force.
More than 200 attendees filled the room to hear Roxanne Jones, Vice President of Global Programs, present “Navigating Health Care in Hostile Environments.” Since 2022, Global Care Force volunteers have provided primary care in Ukraine’s active conflict zones and previously occupied villages, bringing essential care to communities facing the daily realities of war.
Lauren Seaman, Director of Global Strategy and Advancement, and volunteer Angela Whaley, RN, also hosted a booth and connected with clinicians, students, and mission organizations throughout the vendor hall—conversations that sparked meaningful relationships and strong interest in future volunteer service.
The Global Missions Health Conference is one of the largest gatherings of global health and medical missions professionals, bringing together those dedicated to serving vulnerable communities worldwide.
