In April, Global Care Force celebrated Global Volunteer Month by hosting our first-ever blood drive, honoring the incredible volunteers who serve around the world while providing life-saving care in crisis zones and underserved communities.

Just like our volunteers, every drop of blood has the power to save a life. We’re especially grateful to the generous donors who rolled up their sleeves, including nine first-time donors who discovered that giving blood is quick, easy, and virtually painless.

Thanks to our amazing partners at the Community Blood Center, we learned that donations from this event helped save 36 lives in the Kansas City area!

There is no substitute for blood, and the need is constant. We encourage you to find a blood drive near you and donate! It’s a simple act with a powerful impact.
