What Is It?

Corporate matching gift programs are charitable giving programs where companies match donations made by their employees to eligible nonprofits—like Global Care Force. 

Why It Matters

It’s an easy way to double (or even triple!) the impact of a single donation, without asking donors to give more. 

How It Works

1. Donor gives to Global Care Force.
2. Donor checks with their employer to see if a matching gift program exists.
3. Donor submits a matching gift request through their company (online or via a form).
4. The company sends a matching donation to Global Care Force! 

Tips for Volunteers

• Mention it in thank-yous and appeals: “Did you know your gift could be matched by your employer?”
• Share the matching gift link or tool (if available) or remind donors to ask HR.
• Encourage checking match eligibility at donation time or during follow-up.

Sample Text for Sharing

“Many employers will match your donation to Global Care Force—doubling your impact for volunteers and communities in need. Ask your HR department to see if your company participates!”
