Friends,
Greetings and Happy New Year! As we step into 2026, I’m reflecting on the incredible impact Global Care Force made in 2025 and the hope our dedicated volunteers and supporters gave to people living in crisis around the world.
Last year, Global Care Force served in four countries, providing primary care to more than 4,050 men, women and children. Our volunteers gave 8,860+ hours of service and nearly $95,000 in free medications reached communities in Jordan, Mexico and Ukraine. For many refugees in Jordan, it was the first time ever to see a doctor. In Ukraine, families in de-occupied villages found reassurance in the return of medical volunteers. In Mexico and the United States, individuals experiencing homelessness were met with compassion and dignity.
All made possible thanks to you.
Awareness and support of Global Care Force continue to grow. In October, Dr. Lev Prystupiuk, our Medical Director in Ukraine, joined us in the U.S. for our Healing Hands for Ukraine tour, meeting with donors and volunteers in Denver, Kansas City, Phoenix, to share how teams have restored access to essential lifesaving medical care where war has stripped it away.
In Washington, D.C., Dr. Prystupiuk, Lauren Seaman and I met with congressional offices, U.S. agencies, the Embassy of Ukraine, and international NGOs to elevate awareness of our mission and begin building meaningful partnerships. We are already seeing the impact of these conversations.
As we begin the new year, I’m pleased to share that Lauren Seaman, Director of Global Strategy and Advancement, will step into the role of Executive Director. In a short time, he has made a significant impact through his experience in international development, humanitarian engagement, and nonprofit leadership.
Folks, the reality is that conflict, climate disasters and displacement continue to put basic healthcare out of reach for millions. In 2026, my hope is to reach more people in more places, but we can’t do this alone. We need volunteers with global hearts and healing hands who are ready to serve. I promise it will transform your life.
We are deeply grateful for donors who share in our belief that everyone deserves access to compassionate, high-quality healthcare. You can give that gift monthly by becoming part of our Lifeline Collective to sustain this work.
Global Care Force is a small organization, yet what we accomplished in 2025 was extraordinary. With your continued support, I know we can do even more in 2026. Thank you for being a vital part of the Global Care Force family. Together, we will continue bringing compassionate care, one community, one patient, one act of kindness at a time.
With gratitude,
Gary
