Peer to Peer Fundraising

Leverage your personal network by sharing your unique fundraising link (sent in your “Welcome to the Team” email) through emails and social media. Build momentum by:

Personal Fundraising Page – Share your personalized link regularly to keep supporters engaged.

Social Media Series – Post updates before and during your deployment. Talk about why you’re going and what you hope to accomplish. (sample copy & ideas)

“Why I’m Going” Video – Create a 1–2-minute heartfelt video that explains your motivation. Keep it authentic! (sample tips & ideas)

Blog or Email Journal – Share your story through a blog or regular email updates before, during, and after your trip. (sample copy)

Community Engagement

Bring people together in your local circles to share your mission in meaningful ways:

Host a Fundraiser or Info Night – A potluck, coffee chat, or small event can raise awareness and support while creating a sense of community.

Church or Faith Group Presentation – Share your story with your congregation or small group; many are eager to support service-driven efforts
